Not used the Waste App in the last three days? If so, the installed software version will change the settings in such a way that you no longer receive push notifications (“Battery saver mode”). To prompt the app to continue working as normal, you’ll need to deactivate “Battery optimisation” for the Waste App.
Deactivating app optimisation for the Waste App

To deactivate app optimisation on your smartphone, carry out the following steps:
1. Open Settings
2. Tap “Battery”
3. Tap “App optimisation”
4. Tap “Detail”
5. Deactivate app optimisation for the Waste App
Important!

After deactivating app optimisation, please do the following:
1. Restart the device
2. Start the app
3. Refresh the information about your local area and types of waste
Your reminders should now be working again, since power-saving measures have been deactivated for this app.
